Shopify notifies us that you've uninstalled the app, and we will no longer bill any of your customer subscriptions automatically. Your subscription plans will remain in Shopify, and you may use them with other subscription apps if the other app is able to accommodate it. Your store will continue working for normal checkout, however, no subscriptions will be displayed to users. Be sure to update any products that require subscriptions to no longer do so before uninstalling the app.
Yes! Most likely installation will work fine in this scenario assuming you're still using one of Shopify's free themes. Please reach out to our support channel at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have any issues after installation.
Yes, this is possible through manual theme edits within Shopify's interface. If a custom theme is detected by the installation guide available in the app then the necessary steps to update your code will display. Please contact email@example.com if you have any questions.
A subscription plan lets customers purchase products on a custom weekly or monthly recurring schedule with a fixed percentage discount (which can be 0%). For example, if your store sells cakes then with the Simple Subscriptions app you can let customers sign-up for recurring cake deliveries every 1, 2 or more weeks or months. After installing Simple Subscription you will define these plans directly in the Shopify admin interface.
From your Shopify store portal browse to products and select a product. On the product detail screen you will see a new section titled "Subscriptions".
Use the "Add option" menu to create a new plan or add an existing plan.
To associate a plan to a variant, use the "Edit" button to navigate to the variant from its product page. For the subscription plan to only show for selected product variants the plan must only be associated via the variant (from the variant page) and not at the product level.
